Sustainability

KCA International is aware of the need to protect the environment. For this reason KCA is a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), and has LEED certified staff on hand to oversee our compliance with green building practices.  This also allows for added cost savings during the building and operation of our projects.

LEED certification is voluntary, and based on international review and consensus.  It covers any type of structure and focuses on the following five key areas:

• Sustainable Sites
• Water Efficiency
• Energy and Atmosphere
• Materials and resources
• Indoor Environmental Quality.
